Lincoln of the Second Inaugural in Jefferson, Iowa by William Granville Hastings
In front of the county courthouse in Jefferson, Iowa stands a statue of Lincoln as the orator of the Second Inaugural Address. This statue of Lincoln is one of many statues honoring the 16th President that are placed along the route of the original US Highway 30 which is known as the Lincoln Highway.
This is a very popular statue. There are copies or versions of it in seval cities. Hastings' Lincoln can also be found in Cincinnati, Ohio, Bunker Hill, Illinois and Sioux City, Iowa.
