Lincoln in Geneseo, Illinois by Paul Fjelde

This bust of Abraham Lincoln is located in downtown Geneseo, Illinois on a street corner next to the Geneseo History Museum.
This statue was orignally erected on the grounds of the Chicago Stockyards. It stood in front of the Exchange Building from 1916 until the Stockyards were closed in 1971. The bust was moved to a livestock market in Atkinson, Illinois and remained there for 25 years.
Lincoln came to Geneseo in 1997.
